Another white powder mystery for Lindsay Lohan as plumes billow from star's shoes

Lindsay Lohan is no stranger to fashion disasters. But her latest mishap must be her most bizarre yet.
As the actress left a friend's house in Los Angeles yesterday her feet appeared to be surrounded by plumes of smoke.
On closer inspection it seemed Lohan had heavily plastered her feet in white powder.

At least this kind of white powder is legal - in the past Lohan has admitted using cocaine.
‘I tried to mask my problems with alcohol, cocaine and mind-altering substances,' she said earlier this year.

In recent weeks Lohan has been pictured in a series of falls, which she has blamed on her footwear.
In one incident last week she managed to fall over a cactus, right in front of the watching paparazzi.
The dazed star was helped to her feet, but not before she was pictured sprawled on the pavement.
Lohan stars in a documentary about child trafficking, to be screened on BBC3 this Thursday.

But channel bosses have been forced to defend their choice of presenter, after allegations the party-loving star was simply a 'rent-a-celeb'.
Radio Times slammed the documentary as 'a crass pairing even though her presence will no doubt double the audience for the issue.'
But Danny Cohen, BBC3's channel controller, said: 'Finding a celebrity who genuinely cares about the issue really helps pull in a crowd that wouldn’t otherwise switch on.'
