Four people were hospitalized after a stabbing at an Airbnb rental in North Carolina that led to the arrest of six others on drug charges, including a Bible-quoting Christian and a stay-at-home mom.
Madison County Sheriff Buddy Harwood confirmed those involved were vacationing at an off-road rental near the Tennessee border when the incident incident occurred around 3.20am on Monday.
Police arrived at the scene to find the wounded vacationers along with a stash of cocaine, mushrooms and marijuana.
Jay Caleb Bell, Daniel Mansilla-Perea, Richard Vincent Sakowski, Cassi Deann Sakowski, Christopher Lyn Boles and Jodi Michelle Douthit were identified as the suspects.
There were others present when police arrived but they weren't involved.

It's unclear if the suspects were on drugs when the incident unfolded, but each of them were charged with possession of the substances.
Aside from the drug charges, Bell was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill, according to Harwood.

At the time of the incident, police were on the hunt for a white sedan with an Illinois license plate that they believed belonged to Mansilla-Perea.
Harwood later confirmed the vehicle was found but gave no further explanation.
The names of the victims weren't immediately released. Chief Harwood didn't immediately respond to an inquiry from DailyMail.com.
AirBnb removed the home located at 183 Gid Flynn Road from its website as the investigation continues.
The home was last purchased in April 2022 for more than $1 million dollars and features a glorious hill top view and a massive 13,500 gallon swimming pool, according to Zillow.
The two bedroom and one bath home appears to be off a 1.2 mile driveway and in a secluded area surrounded by trees.
